UPDATE 5/16/2021: This slab is out of a recent shipment were some slabs are giving slightly higher moisture readings in some sections (most likely caused by rain/humidity down at our sawmill in Mexico before they were shipped that should go away here at our shop in California) Remind us to get a more current moisture reading when ordering.

PARTIALLY FLATTENED (ask for more info)

Also known as Guanacaste. Great looking slabs with "Koa/Acacia-like" color/grain and at a very economical price. Please note that Parota is a fairly fast growing species (density somewhere in between Redwood and Mahogany), so a good hard top coat is highly recommended (lacquer, polyurethane, etc.)
