Color and overall quality ranges immensely in all Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa) and Mexican Cocobolo is claimed to be the superior choice by most wood enthusiasts/suppliers.

We only supply FEQ Mexican Cocobolo direct from our own sawmill (no lesser grade Central American varieties) and pride ourselves in quality of milling and overall selection.

Cocobolo is currently available in lumber, turning stock, slabs, musical stock and logs/billets.

Please note: On June 12th, 2013 Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa) was listed on CITES Appendix II which placed strict regulations on the international trade of the species.

We are actively researching the specific CITES guidelines with both domestic and international agencies.  This would allow us to continue to supply high quality wood in the future while still helping to maintain the sustainability of the species for future generations.

Although we still have a good supply of Cocobolo in stock in select dimensions (lumber, turning stock, slabs, etc.), certain sizes are no longer available as a result of the increase in demand
