SLAB has been KILN DRIED

Also known as Guanacaste. Great looking slabs with "Koa/Acacia-like" color/grain and at a very economical price. Please note that Parota is a fairly fast growing species (density somewhere in between Redwood and Mahogany), so a good hard top coat is highly recommended (lacquer, polyurethane, etc.)

For an idea of what this slab may look like once properly sanded and oiled, please see images of finished pieces by some of our clients.

Please note bugholes/tracks on white sapwood (common in Parota) and possible checks that may need to be stabilized
