When will my credit card be charged?
-We will contact you to review your order with a finalized total (including shipping) and to get payment information. (we accept Visa/Mastercard/Discover)

Are all pictures an accurate indication of what I am purchasing?
-Whenever possible we try to include a picture of the exact piece you will be purchasing.
-Other times we will include stock photos of surfaced and unsurfaced examples of the wood.
-Unless the item is listed as a "select piece" that has been surfaced, most pieces you will receive will be unsurfaced stock.
-If you have any questions please list them in the "comments" box upon check out and we will answer them when we confirm your order.
How exactly do I order wood in "Lumber" form online?
-Unless otherwise noted, all stock Lumber is listed with a "per board foot" price.
(select pieces and standard size items will be listed with a "piece" price)
-1 board foot =144 cubic inches
-To calculate your desired board foot amount:
(in inches) multiply length x width x thickness, and divide the total by 144
-this is your desired total board foot amount.
-When adding lumber to your shopping cart, please enter your desired board foot amount (to the nearest foot) and we will contact you with the actual amount that will be sent to you (ex. if you order 25 BF of Bocote Lumber the actual amount may be 25.12 BF or 24.86 BF, etc.)
-orders are filled using random sizes in the listed dimensions (unless other wise noted in the "comments" box upon checkout) to ensure the best possible stock and to reach the desired board footage ordered.
How can I figure out my shipping cost?
-Shipping costs vary greatly depending on location.
-You may add your preferred method of shipping in the "Comments Box" upon checkout and we will do our best to find the most cost effective way of packaging it.
-We will contact you to review your order with a finalized total (including shipping) and to get payment information.
When I change the quantity of an item, why doesn’t my total update?
-Please remember to click "Update" whenever you make a change to your shopping cart.
What if I don't see the wood I want to purchase on the online store?
-Not all of our stock is available online, please give us a call at 760-268-1080 if you have any questions or if you would rather place your order over the phone.
Can I place an order shipping to Alaska or Hawaii?
-The online store is available for all customers throughout the USA, including Alaska and Hawaii.
-As you probably know, shipping rates to these two locations will be much higher.
-We will do our best to get you the lowest rate possible and will contact you with the cost before charging your credit card.
How can I place an order to an international location?
-Please contact us directly via phone or email for all international inquiries.
Is online the only way I can place an order?

What are the acceptable methods of payment?
